A month ago I joined a running group. Though I’ve run two short distance marathons before, this time (on Sunday) I tried a 10km run (that is 6.3 miles approximately) with a bit a practice. And guess what? I ran the whole distance. No walking, no spraining, no slouching and giving up! Ran, ran and ran! 😍 I was definitely one of the slowest, but that did not matter as long as I ran!
It was refreshing and a great experience although I want to work on my speed because running becomes effective only above a certain pace.
With a lot of marathons lined up I am definitely trying speed improvement! π
Wow (6.3 miles), that’s impressive — not sure I could’ve done that! How long did u train? http://hideorgochic.wordpress.com
