Oxidized jewelry and me!

I have for a long time realized my love for oxidized jewelry. I call it the zero maintenance jewelry. In fact the more careless you are at maintaining it, the more antique it looks! (Caution: don’t be careless enough and lose it though 😝)  I have, over the years, collected so many of these black metal pieces. In fact, two of them, I have been having from my fourth grade – that’s 15+ years now. 😍
This past week I have carefully worn my best oxidized jewelry to work to click pictures and to show you guys how chic they can be! So here we go!

Jhumkas:

The first jhumka especially never fails to solicit a lot of WOWs every time I wear it. And the best part, I bought it for real cheap while roadside shopping 👍

Chokers and Necklaces:

Oxidized jewelry are associated a lot with chokers and short necklaces in my country because they lend themselves so well to the pattern. Another growing trend is teaming them with black thread like this one:

Bangles:

One more piece of jewelry which attracts so much attention are these bangles. I love the intricate pattern on them and love how comfortable and antique they feel!

The oxidized silver lends itself so beautifully well to other colors like this aqua blue beads. Oxidized gold jewelry is not as popular as its silver cousin but I love it all the same. And hoops and rings in this black metal look great with not-so-traditional garb as well! 🙂

That’s all from me folks! Have a brilliant weekend. Get lots of fun work done. Tell me how you liked this post and hope you stock up on black metal soon. Ciao! 💝
